Compass Land is a specialist consultant development manager on major regeneration and property development projects, acting for developers, and landowner clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.
Established in 2005, by Mark Thomas, Compass Land offers development management resource to bring forward commercial, retail and residential mixed use regeneration, in city centre, and urban locations. The company is able to take responsibility for an overall project, or to implement a particular stage of the process on behalf of a client. Major project experience is available for masterplanning, planning, initiation, delivery, occupational and financing projects, also development team management and publicâ��private development bids and negotiations.

Mark set up Compass Land in 2005, as a specialist consultancy to provide independent development management expertise and resource, to clients undertaking major property developments. Over a career spanning 30 years, with previous spells at David McLean, United Utilities, ARC Properties, Arlington Securities, and Healey and Baker, Mark has been responsible for bringing forward and delivering a number of very varied major projects and development initiatives.
His experience of projects in all sectors and uses, from the perspectives of private, not-for-profit and public sectors, and from developer, property owner, consultant, and regeneration agency standpoints, enables him to make a valuable contribution to major mixed use regeneration developments, and the creation of new places, within urban centres.
Mark is also a Board member at â��Johnnieâ�� Johnson Housing Association, and Vice Chair of FACT in Liverpool, for whom he led the development of the cinema, and digital media arts and cultural centre off Bold St in Ropewalks Liverpool.
